Updated Passion Planner
Hello world it's Kodi here. I have recently been given a new Passion Planner from my parents and it's totally my new favorite thing. So if you've been following along from the start of the adventure, you'll know that I am a big fan of Passion Planners and have used them as my main tool to set and achieve goals (Passion Planner Review).
Well--this year I have the larger version in my favorite color and I am very quickly becoming obsessed with it. It slots into my purse perfectly alongside my laptop and makes me feel unbelievably on top of things.
Reasons You Need a Passion Planner in Your Life:
1. IT WORKS. I started using my first passion planner in 2015 and the three-year goal that I set at the start with my Passion Plan was to graduate from a top drama school in the U.K. And little by little, slowly achieving the smaller steps to achieve my goal each month. Here I am, three years later packing up my room in the U.K. and readying myself for graduation from the Guildford School of Acting and the big move back to LA.
2. You get excited about the future. The mind mapping and passion planning that you do at the start of the year gets you absolutely buzzing about all of the things that you can do with your life. And once you've used one of these planners for one year--you begin to see that the goals you wrote down at the start begin being a part of your everyday life.
3. Every week has you motivated in a new direction. Each week in the planner has a little motivational quote followed by a challenge for the week. So when you are feeling lost, in need of guidance, or just looking for something to do--these little quotes push you in the right direction.
4. You become way more productive. Due to the nature of how making a Passion Plan breaks down your goals into tiny achievable steps. All of a sudden you feel able to tackle more in your day--because your to-do list no longer says "learn Italian" but "look up two new Italian words". Generally making a Passion Plan helps to let you fit these huge long term goals easily into your every-day schedule.
5. You put time away for yourself as well as get work done. One big difference between this planner and other ones that I have tried is that this one evenly splits between "personal" and "work". Now, sometimes work is do laundry or deep clean the bathroom, but because of the way the Passion Planner is organized--I have felt encouraged to put things on my personal list like "take a walk in nature without electronics" "get dinner/drinks with an old friend" "watch an episode of that show you love". All in all, I have never felt so balanced between my personal life and my professional one--and I've got this gorgeous planner to thank for that.
